There will be a publication launch and talk at the lovely @____page_not_found____ on Friday 10th April from 16:00-17:30.
Aniketh will read a short poem titled “children of noise”.

We will dive into stories and histories of sound, have fun, play with the music that shaped our communities and keep shaping our sound. All music we love, a gift of different communities of resistance, and in celebrating the sound we must keep the love of resistance alive within us and our people.
@mo.rights will bring along an archive of Carribean music born from varied histories of resistance. Listening and feeling are forms of knowing and productive unlearning, and Mo will guide us through a rich local sound culture. An experimental lecture in sound and words 🌱
@___gresa will take us through the particular sounds that shaped her taste in music, diving into Albanian music from the early Internet era and everything else that follows.
@barelydjlegal always shows us how Brazilian music is not just about the sound but what this sound represents, a deeply political, resistant, and life affirming philosophy of embodiment.
@amswouters and me @theempireisfragile will host this experimental attempt at radio! We will be serving music and some words, perhaps nothing usual, definitely a lot of fun 💕💚🌱
Caring is a responsibility we enter together.
Caring is to listen, to learn, to unlearn, to resist.
To care is to be present, a radical form of attention, a communal prayer. CC radio prioritizes care as a mode of relation, a way of engaging, an orientation; and requires the same from the participants.
As such ways of organizing are increasingly precarious and necessarily independent it requires the communities perennial support; please share with anyone who may feel what we feel, share amongst friends, lovers, brothers, sisters, mothers and fighters.

but to lend an ear
and listen with care.
Somewhere between an in-person pirate radio and a canteen for our food, our sounds, and our people.
Nothing will be transmissioned or archived online, there will be no strict time slots, everything will be intimate and thus ephemeral. An attempt to produce for our people, and beyond the extractive gaze of techno-patriarchal colonial-capitalism.

Last weekend, Content Care got together with @hassanaboualam and @useknifeofficial for a cozy panel @rewirefestival at Page Not Found in The Hague. Grateful to the audience and the artists for sharing this intimate space, dwelling in our conversations, and sharing some incredible music.
