A lot's changed in a year. Tai has grown out their hair, and they got a 3D printer. Apple (the dog) is full grown. I got top surgery.
You know what hasn't changed? This damn Fiddle Leaf Fig is alive. Despite all the odds – losing every leaf and breaking in half and looking dead for two months – it's alive.
So let it be known that this is my Android's last act of service. You've served me well. I will never love iPhones as I have loved you. But also, I don't welch on bets.

Happy birthday Frim Fram! We don’t know a better way to celebrate 23 years of Fram and all of YOU than having the party be FREE. So we are doing it!
In lieu of admission, we are asking everyone to donate to the Black Lindy Hoppers Fund to help support their mission to provide assistance to established and developing dancers, musicians, researchers, and community builders endeavoring to be of greater service to community members of African and African diasporic heritage.
Once again we will bring the power of music to our community with an ever-popular Request Night! DJ Ryan Swift will be accepting your requests ahead of time, and in person. NO BANANAPHONE!
We are also bringing back our somewhat-annual dance contest with insane prizes! Format, judges, and prizes will be announced as we get closer to the event. (Grand Prize is FREE admission to Fram for a YEAR!)
Let there be cake! We will have enough Red Velvet for everyone, as tradition dictates.

One of my favorite projects to date – a book vase! Featuring "Moby Dick," my favorite old-white-dude-book.
This was a long and laborious project. I never want to do it again, and yet I immediately want to make 10 more with all the learnings I made along the way. I can see all the flaws and mistakes and issues, but I also love it and I'm so proud of what I made.
