Went up island to do an in person coaching session with a few groms and got in the water for a few waves.

2nd Enduro race ever. New challenge for me. Great day on the bike. The first 2 stages were not bad with a fall and still manage to finish. Then it went downhill from there with a flat tire mid stage, broken chain and a big wipeout that i managed to survive and continue on.
Great crew of people and awesome day out there.

It was a rough year for us and noone knows what happens behind scenes.
We, together were strong. This video is a day of many that shows how we roll together in sub optimal ski conditions and in all the things we do. I love my family to be together as much as i can. It means the world to me.
My message today is to forgive, understand, not judge, support and cheer on each other. Be strong and make decisions for yourself. The world is subjective and everyone has a way to interpret things and people.
Surround yourself with people you trust and love.

I never post anything about my job really.
Becoming an advance care practitioner paramedic came with a lot of hard work. I went through a lot of ups and downs. When i was finally mentoring i felt like i was the worse and wasn’t sure if i could do the job. I then worked my ass off again and got signed off to practice. Not everything is perfect in this job and it is a job that i am proud of. Years have passed since when i first became a primary care and many calls and situations that only the job teaches you. It all comes with a cost because life happens outside the job and to keep it all flowing together is not an easy task.
I said before and will say it again, noone knows what goes on in peoples mind and sometimes you can be fun, looking happy and smiling but really the inside is absolutely a mess.
I came from a 5 month period of struggle but kept positive, set up some goals, surfed, biked, hang out with my family and seeked a ton of help and the best part is that i feel like it all put me in an amazing place that i am right now.
I have to thank so many people. They know who they are. My family, friends had a big impact. Some close friends from work were also very supportive and understanding.
I am back at work slowly and feel good to be there. I am excited.
Yesterday i had a great interaction with a patient and her words afterwards she was at the hospital in continue care was. You are the best care i ever had and you made me understand what my condition is. I replied that she filled my bucket and tears of joy came out of my eyes( when i was solo in the bathroom 🤣)
Anyway, finding coherence is key and i now understand what a foggy brain, stress can really do to you.
Stoked to be here and enjoying what surrounds me.

Its been a while. I spent time working on multiple things in the last few months and feel ready. Ended with amazing friends and memories. The road is windy and noone knows what goes in our minds except ourselves. Super important to dedicate time to us and not forget about others. Perseverance and dedication goes a long way.
