This is many years in the making but I can finally share my first book East / West. A collection of images spanning nearly 10 years of python hunting, retirement living, offshore fishing and small town life across South Florida.
I never set out to document my home state but over the years I found myself shooting all of my film down south and unknowingly building a body of work in these micro communities I found myself drawn to.

Self promotion is something I always shy away from, for some reason I always want the work to speak for itself and be found on its own, rather than myself sharing it over and over. But this piece is a favorite of mine and something I am extremely proud of and very humbled to have it shared on @nowness and 1.4 @_onepointfour , two publications I’ve admired for years.
I’ve thanked my crew for this a hundred times and I’m thanking them again once more and promise to share more of my work.

I’ve been trying to think of something @xzibit would have said on Pimp My Ride back in the day like “I heard you like Gatorade so I put Gatorade on your Gatorade” but I couldn’t think of anything better.

Hands grabbing cups. Mile 11 in Prospect Park during the Brooklyn Half Marathon.
The last frame was honestly a lucky shot. I couldn’t have planned that and I didn’t even know I shot it until I was home editing.
A few frames experimenting during the @brooklynexperiencehalf this morning.
The rain stopped just in time for the race but it made the park the greenest I’ve ever seen it which I really wanted to show off. The race ends right in front of my apartment in Prospect Park so I had to run out, make some images and cheer everyone on during the final mile.
One of the GOATs on and off the court. @staley05 is an amazing presence to be around, she’s humble but tough, quiet yet assertive, and always pushing for you to dig deeper and impress even yourself. Thanks for the lesson coach

A few more from the @miamidadebroncos because we had too much fun.
We arrived at last-light on the first day and took advantage of the fading sun to hit some quick trails which made for some fun lighting scenarios as the Broncos became the subject and light source. Then of course chased, followed and rode in as many Broncos as possible through sand, mud and dirt.
Overall an epic day.
