@plastic_product ⁡ ◾︎"A Sound Transmission Project." At a time when many fashion brands remain focused solely on the cycle of production and consumption, PLASTICPRODUCT continues to communicate a distinct brand philosophy through independent projects and experimental forms of expression. Recently, the brand presented the MPa Sound System project in Tokyo — a sound-based installation centered around a circular MPa disc, from which cables extended outward and connected to surrounding cushions. Through this structure, the audience was transformed from passive spectators into participants, becoming an integral part of the performance itself. Rather than responding only to the fashion landscape, PLASTICPRODUCT engages with broader contemporary realities, continuously initiating projects and ideas that feel capable of creating an entirely new movement.

@re.dot.search ◾︎“Archive Objects, Space, Silence” In today’s social media landscape, most creative output is driven by visuals, curation, and heavily constructed presentation. However, within that environment, he continues to present his pieces in an entirely different way — carefully placed symmetrically against a plain white background, stripped down to the simplest possible form. By eliminating unnecessary creative elements, the focus is directed entirely toward the garments themselves. Recently, he has begun introducing certain details through short-form reel videos, yet the “quiet strength” of his posts still carries an overwhelming impact. This approach feels almost opposed to the current era of social media, and while it may appear simple, it is something very few can truly execute. Behind it lies his extraordinary ability as a collector and curator. Now, let’s take a closer look at some of the pieces within his collection.

@marco.sqrd @marco____sam @maximilllian.marco ◾︎“Archive Pieces Seen Through a Different Lens.” - Interpreting fashion through perspectives unique to them, while proposing distinctive styling. ⁡ A Chicago-based archive shop is developing archive fashion through the unique perspectives of its young owners, translating it into today’s fashion scene. Beyond the pieces they curate, the shop is characterized by a strong visual approach driven by the owners’ youthful sensibilities. Their styling and product photography are carefully adapted to match the atmosphere and identity of each piece, creating a distinct presentation throughout. As a result, the shop offers users not only a place to purchase garments, but also a visual experience that naturally adds value simply through viewing the content itself.

@metalliccurtain / @amrxtuned ⁡ ◾︎“What is a shop like a museum?” As vintage stores continue to multiply, the industry is steadily shifting toward online platforms. Against this backdrop, his shop takes a different path — an approach rooted in the physical space itself. Chairs, objects, and books scattered throughout the store create layers of experience that go beyond the visual. The space begins to feel almost like a museum. Naturally, the pieces he presents carry a quality worthy of such a setting.

@local_case / @yanis_pleindepices “Every Archive, One Shop” ⁡ ◾︎Info🗒 One of the common challenges for many archive shops is the range of their selection. LOCAL CASE, however, goes beyond simply offering products-continuing to present pieces that exist almost as works. Featuring European designer archives such as STONE ISLAND and PRADA, both of which have steadily increased in value in recent years, the shop approaches these pieces from multiple perspectives, drawing the attention of users.

@fromelsur / @mariegarglez ⁡ ◾︎"Not just styling, but international camera angles." FROM EL SUR — a London-based women’s boutique. Relentless in their pursuit of curation, they refine, select, and present pieces with a distinct point of view—one that resists imitation. Each item exists not just as clothing, but as part of a broader visual language. Step inside, and discover a store that doesn’t follow style—it defines it.

@plastic_product PLASTICPRODUCT is a Korea-based collective. This time, we focused on PLASTICPRODUCT’s idea of “Workwear for cognitive stability.” ■ What “fashionable” means for PLASTICPRODUCT. Elements that can be called functions but are not strictly necessary, states that appear functional yet fail to be convincing. When their uselessness is translated into aesthetics, they become something else. In that moment, a new sensibility and a familiar recognition emerge at the same time. Through this process, we arrived at the following conclusion. Not functionality that works better, nor logic added afterward to justify behavior, but an attitude that adjusts the direction in which sensibility can rest is what comes closest to being fashionable.
