Today we lived our Princess Sofia dreams thanks to Disney Jr! It was such a blast to meet characters, enjoy amazing Mickey themed snacks, play, color and watch Disney shows.
It was fun to put my professional camera down and just watch my daughter have the time of her life. What a princess-tastic experience. Thanks Disney for inviting us to the play cafe!

Anna’s pizza is traditional pizza restaurant in West Covina, where you can order a deep dish, thick crust or thin crust. When you dine-in, Joey will pour you a beer on tap and make you feel at home in no time. They have subs made on fresh bread everyday, wings and pastas. They even have a “keto pizza” - all of your toppings wrapped in lettuce.

Meet @hummuslabs , opened mid pandemic in the heart of Pasadena. Owner & Chef Joe Badaro, built this restaurant on his mother’s traditional Lebanese recipes. It is Mediterranean food redefined. It is delicious.
Another amazing small business built on the dreams of a family table. The menu includes beef, chicken, filet mignon and salmon. Everything you order is fresh and cooked when you order it. The hummus is to die for. I loved the roasted tomato habanero hummus and they also have a beet hummus and cilantro jalapeño hummus. I would go for the hummus alone and the homemade crispy pita chips! The falafel is a family recipe and Joe’s mother told him never to serve pre-made or frozen falafel, so it is made fresh every time you order it. Unbelievable. The integrity of Lebanese tradition is there in that kitchen.

Evil Cooks is quickly becoming a taco hotspot in Los Angeles. Chef Alex & Chef Elvia took inspiration from the food in their hometowns in Mexico to create a truly rockstar 🤘and one of a kind menu.
It’s Mexican food like you’ve never had it before - from their black pastor to their dessert tacos - I promise you no one in LA has a menu like this. They even have a nee Poseidon (octopus) taco. They are also great people, sharing a piece of their family & their home with everyone who comes by!

Restaurant Giveaway update! It was a pleasure spending the last couple months meeting the owners of the various restaurants that won our giveaway! Now I’d love to introduce them to you.
First up, @lapupusadtla ! This amazing little spot right outside of Downtown is so vibrant and delicious. I’ve always thought pupusas deserve the spotlight more than they get it - lol!
@lapupusadtla was inspired by the owner’s grandmother. Juan shared with me the stories of how hard she worked and how this storefront was her dream. The food is authentic and so flavorful. The sauces are 🔥 and every single pupusa is hand crafted when you order it. From the dough (masa) to the filling - it is fresh and so good! Drop into this restaurant to grab lunch or dinner - it is a piece of El Salvador in Los Angeles. They even have a “Pupusa Pizza” called La Mamasota, an 18inch pupusa you can share with your family. Yup, you know I love a good pizza - and this makes the cut.
Make some time this summer to try their pupusas or tortas or loaded yuca fríes or empanadas or desserts - just go, and try it all. This is a true family owned small business, so when you visit you support them directly. 🙌🏼
