Get ready for an unforgettable evening at The Pathway Experience: There’s No Place Like Hope ✨
On Friday, May 15, 2026, join us at Bosscat Kitchen & Libations for an immersive cocktail and dinner experience that invites you to follow the yellow brick road through the real pathways families take toward stability.
With a cocktail in hand, you’ll journey through thoughtfully designed stop points that bring CAP OC’s work to life — where nourishment meets relief, relief leads to stability, and stability opens the door to home.
The evening will culminate with a seated dinner in the Emerald City — CAP OC, where we’ll come together to reflect on the journey, hear what’s ahead, and explore how you can help move families forward.
Engaging. Unexpected. Designed to be experienced, not explained.

Do you need food?
If you or someone you know needs food assistance, please call 2-1-1 to be connected with your nearest food pantry or visit /distribution-partners/ to contact an OC Food Bank distribution partner site.
Please note: We do not provide food directly to the public at our Garden Grove location.
Current CalFresh disruptions are an evolving concern. We’re here to support community members during this time.

As we get ready for summer, it is important to understand why public safety power shutoffs (PSPS) occur. A Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) is when an electric utility temporarily shuts off power for a period of time to reduce the risk of a wildfire caused by utility equipment. Dangerous fire weather conditions including strong winds, dry vegetation, and low humidity all drive PSPS events. Make sure you are prepared for the warmer and drier summer that's to come this year with tips from SCE.
Check out the link in our bio for more information on how to prepare you and your family for Public Safety Power Shutoffs in the future.

This #WeatherizationWednesday, we’re highlighting how weatherization helps families stay safer, healthier, and more comfortable year-round.
At CAP OC, weatherization services do more than improve energy efficiency. They help reduce utility costs, create healthier living environments, and support long-term housing stability for our community members who need it most.
As we recognize Community Action Month, we’re proud to continue empowering Orange County residents through programs that make homes more sustainable and families more resilient.

Last month, our team recognized Child Abuse Awareness Month—a time to reflect, learn, and reaffirm our commitment to ensuring every child in our community feels safe, supported, and cared for.
To honor the month, we invited staff to reconnect with their inner child through a simple act of creativity: coloring, just like many of us did when we were young.
Here are just a few of masterpieces our team created. Which one is your favorite? 🎨
