Every name on this list tells a story, of years of training, of choosing to show up day after day, of believing in what’s possible, and of a community that believes just as fiercely. For most of the athletes representing Canada in Italy, that community includes #CANFund. This is proof of what happens when donors invest in the very best athletic talent in our country and stay invested for the journey. Backing ambition. Showing up. Delivering results.

There is no plan B for our Canadian athletes. Just total commitment. Relentless work. And the courage to go all-in on a single dream. When no one is watching. To honour Canadian athletes who have qualified to compete in Italy, CAN Fund invites individuals and companies to gift a Maple Leaf painting. Each Maple Leaf Home painting: • Celebrates an athlete’s achievement • Includes a personal message of congratulations • Is a $250 donation supporting future Canadian athletes • A one of a kind 8×8 acrylic by artist Jane Roos Only 189 paintings are available. Email [email protected] to learn more or purchase.

Turning their stories into powerful moments for Canada, every Paralympian has overcome incredible odds to reach this stage. All of these athletes are #CANFund recipients. We’re captivated by Greg Westlake @gwestlake12 , competing in his 6th Paralympic Games in Para Hockey, and Natalie Wilkie @natalie_wilkie_ , racing in her 3rd Paralympics and already holding an incredible 10 Paralympic medals. We’re also cheering on Gilbert Dash @gibby_752 , who is making his Paralympic debut at age 57. Congratulations as well to Canada’s Wheelchair Curling team for securing a win against Korea this morning. None of this would be possible without the generosity of people who know that Canadian athletes need support and give to CAN Fund 🙌

Becoming a CAN Fund recipient makes a real difference for Canadian athletes like myself. This support helps create the space to make decisions based on what is best for performance, not just what is financially possible. It helps offset the costs that come with chasing sport at this level. Training camps, competition travel, treatment, recovery, and the time away from work that is often necessary to properly prepare and represent our great country 🇨🇦 . That kind of support takes pressure off the day-to-day and allows me to stay focused on the work: showing up consistently, training with purpose, and continuing to represent Canada to the best of my ability. Grateful to CAN Fund and everyone who supports Canadian athletes behind the scenes. I’m incredibly proud and grateful to share that I’ve been selected as a CAN Fund Recipient this year! This direct support is so much more than financial. It’s a reminder that even when I am training in silence, far from the spotlight, I am not forgotten. I have dedicated years to chasing seconds, and behind every second is a journey filled with sacrifice, grit, and belief. Right now, this support is helping make it possible for me to complete an altitude training camp in Sierra Nevada. This opportunity will play a huge role in my preparation and development this season. Camps like this are where so much unseen work happens, and I’m incredibly thankful to have people backing my journey. To every CAN Fund donor: thank you for believing in that journey. CAN Fund receives no government funding. It exists entirely because Canadians show up and say, “I believe in you.” And that belief truly makes a difference. Heading into the long weekend, we’re reflecting on the communities that lift each other up, the memories created through sport, and the lasting difference that can happen when people come together for something bigger than themselves. ❤️ 🇨🇦 @thehudsonsullivanfoundation Two weekends ago, the Hudson Cup brought together teams, families, and an entire community to honour Hudson Sullivan through the power of sport. We’re incredibly grateful to have been one of the charitable partners of such a meaningful event, helping support Canadian athletes through CAN Fund. This clip features four CAN Fund recipients @jamesdunn4 @markz2120 @ben.heldman @stoiks_98 alongside the teams who competed with heart all weekend long. A reminder that life is about showing up for each other, and the difference we can make when we do. Photos by: @therobinsnest.to

To CAN Fund, this is what showing up looks like. 🇨🇦 At the 2nd Annual Hudson Cup hosted by the Hudson Sullivan Foundation and Katie Sullivan, we witnessed the power of community coming together for something bigger than themselves. “One of the goals of The Hudson Sullivan Foundation is to support young athletes and individuals who have the drive and talent to succeed, but need a little extra support to get there, which is why partnering with CAN Fund has felt like such a natural fit. Having CAN Fund recipients join us at the Hudson Cup brought that mission to life in a very real way, and was one of the most meaningful parts of the weekend for me. It was a powerful reminder that behind every scholarship, grant, or donation is a real person, a real dream, and a real opportunity to change the trajectory of someone’s life.” – Katie Sullivan With over 300 attendees, families gathered for an unforgettable day filled with connection, purpose, and love for sport. CAN Fund Recipients and 2026 Paralympic and Olympic athletes James Dunn - Para Hockey, Mark Zanette - Bobsleigh, Luka Stoikos - Bobsleigh and Ben Heldman - Snowboard spent the day meeting guests, sharing their journeys, skating with kids, and reminding everyone exactly why supporting Canadian athletes matters. From the Stanley Cup making a special appearance, to the open family skate, the puck drop, and tournament play, every moment carried a sense of togetherness that left our hearts full. Hudson’s legacy continues to bring people together in the most impactful way. To everyone who showed up, supported, volunteered, donated, skated, played, and connected - Thank You.

Every second counts in ski cross — sometimes qualifying comes down to hundredths of a second. This campaign helps directly fund more training time, travel, and opportunities to compete at the highest level. Your support truly helps buy time where it matters most. If you’d like to support CANFund who has supported me, the link is in my bio. Thank you ❤️ and learn more about how EVERY SECOND COUNTS #canfundpledge
