These frames of @dark_horse_heart were shot on Candido 200 and 400, with one roll of Rollei RPX 400. Both Candido stocks were processed in C-41 to see how they hold up when deep contrast and the negatives dye behaviour can be pushed with the light. Strong colour, deep shadows, and clean separation — that’s what impressed me most. All lighting was controlled on set: spill blocked, bounce removed, colour kept separate at the lamps. The film did the rest. Developed and scanned in-house at @theliquidlightlab and film supplied for testing by @candidocollective . Hi ha coses que juraria que han existit des de sempre, com el monument als castellers de la Rambla de Tarragona. Hauria dit que el recordo de tota la vida, com si sempre hagués format part del paisatge i de nosaltres. Però fa poc vaig buscar-ne la història i vaig descobrir que el van inaugurar el 1999. M’ha semblat curiós pensar com normalitzem les coses que ens sostenen. Com allò que ens acompanya acaba semblant etern. Per mi, aquest monument sempre ha estat molt més que bronze. Sempre l’he sentit com un homenatge silenciós a totes les generacions de castellers i castelleres que ens han precedit. A tota la gent que ha deixat el cos, la por, la força i la confiança dins d’una pinya. Per això, el dia de Sant Jordi, mentre feia fotos a la @ruutmateuu que es movia amb una rosa a la mà, li anava dient que ballés cap a ells, cap a aquesta pinya que és molt més que un monument.
