Looking Back & Looking Forward | Now that my crazy busy wedding season of 22 ends, I have a little time to look back on the brilliance of this year. I conducted more weddings than ever, including 5 weddings in 7 days over the Jubilee weekend and there were more laughs, happy tears and unscripted moments of joy than ever before. I was privileged to visit so many incredible venues and the last of the couples who had postponed during the pandemic took their vows. But, above all, it was a year of love - couples, their families, friends... love abounded and absolutely overflowed at every wedding. I have witnessed so many incredible moments this year that I will reflect and continue to count my blessings during the coming winter months.
And I will also be looking forward to 2023 as there is so much goodness in my diary for next year already. Weddings across the country, from the Lake District to Devon await and I'm already excited about the prospect of writing scripts and leading the cheers for so many newlyweds come spring.
But, for now, I'll enjoy my few months at home, when weekends can be filled with family and friends (and netball, obviously!) and where I can plan and make progress with other projects, including @whataboutweddings now we've reactivated our campaign. I can't wait to launch our membership and you will be hearing much of that over the coming weeks and months. I also have a book to write but more about that at another time...
My 2023 brochure is all ready to go so if you're planning a wedding ceremony and would like to know more, just let me know and I'll send you a copy as speedily as I can.
BUCS Big Wednesday - Men’s University Select
A massive privilege to be assistant coach to @jo__trip at this fantastic event.
Was it a huge step forward for men’s netball? Too right it was. Are we ready for what’s next? You bet we are.

2025 - All The Things
It was the year I said hello to a new kitten, a new allotment and old friends. I said goodbye to the goodest girl and helped so many gorgeous couples say ‘I do’. I rode the netball rollercoaster, ending up with big smiles, shiny medals, more stamps in the passport, and a full heart thanks to so many brilliant humans.
2026 is calling. Let’s go…
What an incredible two weeks in Texas and the Dominican Republic…
Horse riding at sunset, zip lining through the Texas Hills, two-stepping at the Dance Hall, swimming in springs with a city view, watching basketball, eating BBQ, playing netball, winning medals at the US Championship, and then relaxing under blue skies and beautiful sunsets.
Loved every second and now it’s time for what’s next…

Memories. Made.
Ahh, Singapore, you were brilliant. Couldn’t have had a better tour - fabulous players, staff and supporters, excellent results and a seat on the England bench for it all. What more could you ask for? Absolutely nothing.
Thank you to @daveenasaranna for asking me to step temporarily into her socials shoes, to @canaryralph for the photographic support, to @wessareact43@kieranfawbert@meganwinslow_sportstherapy and Dan for welcoming me into the staff family (and especially to Dan for all the food recommendations!) but most of all, thank you to all the players. Being around you all and seeing you work hard, play hard and back each other 100% is an utter privilege. I can’t wait to see what you all achieve next.
And @jacobkirby28 , as netballing offspring go, you’re doing good 👍

What an amazing few months with the brilliant humans of @thamesmavericks . Fantastic national league matches for our men’s and mixed teams, the men’s team playing the curtain raiser ahead of the Superleague semi-final, tournaments, social league, training and so much laughter, support and all-round greatness.
Can’t believe that we’re taking two teams to Nationals next month and here’s to creating special things with special people. Mavs, you’ve kept my head up 🖤🩵

2023, what a year you were.
It was a year full of unexpected highlights and lots of unforgettable moments. Yes, there were some downs but so many ups massively outweighed the blips and I wouldn’t change a thing. Of course, there are plans for the next 12 months, but if this year has taught me anything, it’s that if you keep your head up and your heart and mind open, you never know what fabulous things, incredible people and extraordinary experiences come your way.
So, 2024, let’s see what you’ve got…
