Hey friends! I have the great honor of being included (and my dance partner, Sammy) in an interactive dance installation at the Museum of the City of New York. It's called Urban Stomp curated by Derrick Leon Washington, PhD! It covers Hip Hop, Vogue, Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, Lindy Hop, Hustle, and so much more... Costumes, instruments, and dance shoes and New York DANCE culture. I'm presenting in the Charleston and Lindy Hop kiosk. I'm the first kiosk off the elevator. Come check it out and learn some new moves. Runs for 10 months through February!

A night of spirit, artistry, and liberation.
Dec 13 • Tickets in bio.
The Halloween spirit has arrived at Joffrey Ballet School. 🎃
To start of this exciting week we’re throwing it back to our NYC Ballet Trainees performing a thriller-inspired routine choreographed by year-round faculty member Candice Franklin — a performance that still gives us chills.
From sharp choreography to unforgettable costumes, this remains one of our favorite Halloween memories!
We can’t wait to see what creative costumes fill our studios this year. Stay tuned as we recap all the fun from this week!

I'm still beaming from the AMAZING time I had teaching with Meche, Sheila, Sue, and Tee in Mexico at The Legacy International Jazz Dance Congress, and I sent my Thank yous to The Legacy Director.
Yesterday, I received this beautiful, wonderful letter that not only boosted my spirit in so many ways, but also deeply touched me as both a dance educator and an artist... Thus, I asked if I could share. Thank you, Legacy, for this wonderful opportunity!
Sue, Teresa, Sheila... What a faculty line up in Leon, Mexico!!!! Thank you, Meche for having me be a part of The Legacy Jazz.... I had a blast... an experience I will NEVER forget!

Hello, Friends of Dance!
I’m thrilled to share that I’m a mentee and dancer with the Al Minns Next Generation Project—a legacy initiative honoring the legendary Lindy Hop icon, Al Minns.
As you may know, I’ve been studying and performing Lindy Hop since the pandemic, and I’m incredibly HONORED to EVEN have the privilege to have been invited into this program as a legacy candidate. This AMAZING project has not only helped tune my Lindy chops but has me training CLOSELY with some of the BEST Lindy Hop dancers in the business, including our elder Jazz legends like Chester Whitmore, Sugar Sullivan, and Barbara Billups. In fact, we have learned several classic routines as reconstructions made famous by Al Minn’s and Frankie Manning that we’ll perform this weekend!
This training is INVALUABLE, and as a dance educator myself, I know I’m getting the right, AUTHENTIC information to carry on the torch to the next generation with confidence.
Here's where you come in.
The Al Minns Next Generation Project pays for ALL OF US to train together, that’s free airfare and hotel rooms for ALL participants, teacher fees, food, tuition, and daily rent for ballrooms to practice. We have been to New Orleans, Los Angeles, and even to the legendary Herrang Dance Camp in Sweden twice! All said and done, each trip costs upwards of $70,000 for our group to travel… Yes, 70k; that’s expensive, but worth EVERY dollar because we believe in the mission.
My goal is to raise $1000 by the end of this month.
To donate, scan the code or go to tinyurl.com/DonateAMNGP. When filling out the form, please include my name in the “Referred By” section so I can track my fundraising progress. Please know that a tax-deductible donation as little as $25 can go a long way. Either way, I’ll be super grateful for your support in helping our incredible organization’s mission thrive.
Thank you! And can't wait to see you on the dance floor...
