Went to my first Afrikaburn thinking I’d shoot nonstop. Instead, I mostly forgot my gear existed and got lost in the overwhelm.
So here’s a tiny mixed album: fragments, colours, mostly photos, a little video, and the occasional moment where I remembered I’m a photographer.
The rest lives exclusively in my brain chemistry.

I’ve known Michelle for many years, long before this day.
She’s someone who has lived through more than most.
Survived cancer twice, seen many corners of the world, and somehow moves through it with this deep sense of presence and curiosity. Every time I’ve been around her, I’ve felt it.
The kind of person who really meets the moment.
And the people in it.
This day was honest, emotional, and completely their own.
And it reminded me why I love photographing weddings in the first place.
