“PUT IT IN WRITING”
In a socially, politically and economically challenged era full of protests, sound bites, disclaimers and sales pitches, PUT IT IN WRITING situates several artists’ observations and/or actions through their text-based practices. From the irreverent, to the anxious, to the laugh-out-loud coping mechanisms, all have a place in a world that is in some pretty heavy and chaotic times.
All artists’ approaches are quite different aesthetically, but the common ground is the absorption and transformation of culture through words and/or images that we can all perhaps collectively identify with, or better yet, wonder what it could all mean…
