Designed by Boden Architecture, the approach to this residence was centred on the idea of confluence — a space where gathering, nature, and daily life meet with intention. The design draws on mountain and mid-century modern influences: clean lines, floor-to-ceiling windows, exposed beams, and a single-storey residence that keeps the focus on the landscape outside.
Our team worked on translating Boden Architecture’s plans into timber and steel manufacturing drawings, working closely with their team to make sure the design intent carried through every component.

A closer look at this lakefront residence in McCall, Idaho.
Designed by Jones & Jones Design Studio and built by @lehrerfamilyhomes , the home sits on a direct lakefront lot. Rough-sawn timber and warm wood siding in a golden tone set against cool-toned stone — and a single steep roofline that gives the lakeside elevation a strong, clean profile.
At just over 2,400 sq. ft. across two levels, the layout is deceptively spacious — a single-storey entry from the front gives way to a lower level that opens directly to the water.
