The Adriatic Beatbox Battles took place in Zadar, Croatia as part of the third edition of the
@croappella festival. It was my first event out of the UK. I placed 3rd which is my highest placement in competition thus far. The event itself was unreal. The crowd responses, the friendship, the vibes, all of it was immaculate.
MASSIVE shout out to
@elliotmainwaring for taking the overall win, beating me and also becoming UK Vice Champion this year, he absolutely killed it. A big thank you to
@andy_cky @dan.l_bbx , the battles with you were very fun and definitely pushed me. I fully underestimated how strong A Capella beatboxers truly are and I feel a lot of the beatbox scene could learn a lot from the A Capella scene.
The Croappella performances and workshops themselves were incredible and very enjoyable.
@nlacappella @theleamingtones @soulkeys_vocals @the.menagerie.club all put on outstanding performances which blew me away, I fully recommend checking them all out.
