Music x Tech is a big theme for @east2046_festival . On the 17th August at our launch, dive into a 7-minute sonic experiment where beatboxing becomes visual code. In collaboration with Jonathan Zhu @jon__nathnzsy , Andy Chan @andy_cky activates a real-time system that transforms vocal rhythms into immersive motion - a fusion of audio and algorithm, where every beat triggers a visual pulse.
Andy is an Internationally award winning vocal artist from Macau, known for pushing the boundaries of vocal expression. His practice explores the raw essence of music - the human voice - imitating instruments, crafting effects, and generating visuals through sound. By blurring the line between music and technology, Andy creates multi-sensory performances that resonate across space and perception.
