As a teacher, I have come across a number of students who are unable to access the essentials they need for school due to poverty. 💔 This pushed me to join a Parent Support Group and be part of the movement that fulfils the dreams of such students. 💭🌟 We're very proud to be among the CAMFED Champions as a Parent Support Group & to have our efforts recognized by the community. This gives us hope & courage to reach many more vulnerable students.👩🏾‍🎓🙌🏿 — Neema, Parent Support Group Chairperson & Teacher, Tanzania 🇹🇿 #InternationalDayOfFamilies

Keep dreaming, dream without limit and act without delay! If I made my dream work, you can also do it. 💭🌌 My career journey started when visiting health workers came to our village, and one of them saw a swelling on my knee and recommended surgery. 🦵🏾😷 That surgery saved my leg (the swelling was cancerous) and after the surgery I made a vow that: because a stranger saved me, I'd spend my life saving others too. 🩺👩🏾‍⚕️ I am now a medical doctor aspiring to be a gynecologist. 💜🚺— Dr. Constance, Malawi Follow CAMFED for more impactful stories like this! ➡️

Happy Mental Health Awareness Week! 🧠💖 You might be facing a lot right now, but remember you’re not alone. 🤝🏿 Sisterhood is very important because we rise by lifting others. Through motivation & encouragement from my CAMFED Association sisters, I've managed to overcome many hurdles & succeed.🙌🏿✨—Mercy, Zimbabwe #CAMFEDsisterhood #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek

Access to education & mental health go hand in hand.✋🏿🧠 When a girl doesn’t have to worry about school fees, her safety, or being forced to leave school, it changes how she feels, learns & shows up each day. Together, we’re working to make that possible for more girls. #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek

🌱✨ Your voice has power to challenge your old stories and write new ones. I'm Miriam, and I work as an Agriculture Specialist, training farmers in new technologies & climate smart agriculture so they have enough food throughout the year. 🌾 I feel happy to see farmers’ lives transformed because of their hard work. 💪🏿 CAMFED is playing a major role in skills development here in Malawi and has supported us to open our minds. 🌍💡 With CAMFED's support, we have learned business and leadership skills, and opened our minds to new possibilties. 🌍💡 —Miriam, Malawi 🇲🇼 #CAMFEDsisterhood #Agriculture #FoodSecurity

Come with us as we lead a session on the global stage 🌍✨ “The role of the Learner Guide goes beyond the classroom and into the community — we create safe spaces for girls to learn and thrive.” — Jemimah, Ghana We're CAMFED graduates and during the Skoll World Forum, we brought a Ghanaian classroom to Oxford in an immersive peer mentorship session, in collaboration with @gpforeducation As Learner Guides (peer mentors) we — alongside fellow CAMFED Association members — turned participants into learners, showing how mentorship helps children to set goals, increase agency and plan for a better future, for themselves and their communities. 💡📚 The Learner Guide model is at the heart of CAMFED’s work — as young women once supported by CAMFED, we now support the next generation to learn, thrive and lead. 🎓💛 #SkollWF #CAMFEDsisterhood

CAMFED Association at Skoll World Forum 2026!! 🌍🏛️ The Skoll World Forum in Oxford brought together global changemakers, including members of the CAMFED Association — Africa's largest growing network of educated women leaders. 🎤📢 From interactive classrooms to global policy discussions, we saw how leadership, courage, and vision multiply opportunity and drive real systems transformation across generations. Beyond the sessions, the week was filled with joy shared between partners, supporters, and the CAMFED community! 👏🏿❤️ #SkollWF @skollfoundation

Ten years ago, our Patron @juliagillard first met a group of educated young women leaders from Ghana, Malawi, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe who shared their ambitions for the future. Last month, she visited Malawi to meet more of the changemakers in our movement for girls’ education and women’s leadership. Today, they are educators, entrepreneurs, and leaders — supporting the next generation of girls to learn, thrive and lead across Africa. 🌍 As we celebrate a decade of Julia Gillard’s commitment to CAMFED, we’re excited to share some of the journeys of our graduates in the CAMFED Association — and the incredible impact they’re making. Their stories show what’s possible when girls are supported to learn, thrive, and lead change. 📚✨ #GirlsEducation #TogetherWeCan
