It was another busy day here at the
@felixgodefroid_harpcompetition , filled with wonderful performances by the young, talented musicians of the “Espoirs” category. 🎶✨
The winners were:
1st Prize 🥇: Carlotta Maria Augugliaro
2nd Prize 🥈: Valerij Greblo
3rd Prize 🥉: Yu Sze Caitlyn Yip
Two special prizes were also awarded by the jury for the best performance of Fanny Bodson’s “Le reflet d’insouciance,” going to Hermione Dommanaget and Carlotta Maria Augugliaro. 🏆🎼
Results for the first round of the “Soliste” category were announced, with the following players advancing to today’s final:
Yuki Dempo, Letizia Lazzerini, Noam Angloma, and Maximilian Robin Treller. 🌟
In the final, they will perform Debussy’s “Danse sacrée et Danse profane” with the chamber orchestra of the Chapelle musicale, along with solos of their choice. 🎼
The quality of the first round was outstanding. We commend all the contestants and wish the finalists the very best! 💐👏
An insightful, fascinating masterclass with
@anneleenlenaerts also took place. 🎶
The evening ended with an exhilarating concert by
@michellesweegers (“Harp on Fire”). Brava, Michelle! Your performance, featuring pieces ranging from The Prodigy to Einaudi, along with your original compositions highlighting the importance of preserving nature, captivated the audience from start to finish! 🌿🔥🎵
