As the cinematographer, my role was to interpret the director’s vision, build the visual language, design the lighting, and shape the overall aesthetic. Every creative decision had to be defended, why this lens, why this movement, why this light,and how each choice served the story. Like the directing class before, we worked against the clock. The difference? We had the freedom to shoot as many takes as necessary within the allotted time. All of this was done under olacardoso_ supervision, with real-time feedback that pushed us to think deeper and execute better. Had a great experience visiting @nfvcb yesterday., very educating, fun and a eye-opening for me.
