In the UK, 1 in 7 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime, and nearly 400 men are diagnosed with breast cancer every year. Around 2500 people in the UK under the age of 40 are diagnosed with breast cancer every year. Early detection can save lives. CoppaFeel! are the UK’s only youth focused breast cancer awareness charity, and are on a mission to get every 18-24 year old checking their chest. They educate people on the signs of breast cancer and encourage them to check their chests monthly. Our film ā€˜Feelings’ shares the stories of Robyn, Dhvani, and Amber. All diagnosed with breast cancer between the ages of 19 and 26, this film shares complexity and sensitivity of being a young person with breast cancer. Courageously telling us how they felt facing moments of diagnosis to how they feel today, they share a unique connection that we can all find strength in. From feeling a lump, to feeling too young. From the surreal shock of a diagnosis, to fear, and this is an inspiring story to be vigilant and catch it early. Sharing our first Christmas gift šŸŽ for @lechameau1927 . ā€œThere’s Nowhere We Can’t Goā€ is a different Christmas story, inspired by folkloric tradition, it’s one that connects us back to a place and each other. Set on a backdrop of the timeless ā€œSong Of Wandering Aengusā€ by W.B.Yeats this film centers a Christmas Walk. Two lovers forfeit the comforting glow of their phone screens for an adventure that rewards with true connection. Finding nature, each other and themselves again. As if for the first time. A tale as old as the hills - that has never been more relevant than it is today. Shot beautifully by the brilliant director, @maria_lax_ , with the support of @artpractice.studio , the stars really aligned on this one.
