Isn’t it funny how they say a picture is worth a thousand words, and yet, most times, photos are rarely an accurate representation of how good something actually is in real life? Well let me tell you. The photos I took of this cake are good, but they just don’t do it justice. Hi my little sprinkles! I hope you’re all doing amazing and having a wonderful end to your Summer. I wanted to hop on here and let you know that I’ve officially opened my schedule up for 2022 wedding orders. As I’m sure you can all imagine, this wedding season was a bit of a whirlwind, and I’ve been busier than ever creating beautiful cakes for my couples. I appreciate everyone’s patience while I finish up the season and prepare for the next one. With that said, I invite you to submit your 2022 wedding inquiries directly through my website. I’ve made a few changes for the coming year, which include the following: ✨Menu changes ✨I will no longer be offering large, or three tier cakes ✨My tasting boxes are now $60 and available only one day quarterly. My next tasting dates are 11/22 and 2/21. For more information, please visit my website, as everything is detailed there. It’s been WAAAAAY too long since I’ve shown my mug on this page, so here we go... My name is Lauren, and I’m the face behind Cake Effect. I work full time as a Commercial Insurance Advisor and I make the cakes you see on this page in my free time. A few random things about me: 🌸 I try to keep fresh flowers in the house as often as I can. They make me happy and they also make me feel like I’ve got my stuff together 😁 🏡 I’m a huge homebody. My favorite way to spend a Saturday night is snuggled up on the couch watching a movie. 🍗 Thanksgiving is my all time favorite holiday, and my Mom usually makes a turkey dinner with all the fixins for my birthday dinner in April. Second place goes to birthdays. Doesn’t even have to be mine, I just love celebrating peoples birthdays. One more thing I love- getting to know you guys and learning all about your anticipated special occasions. Making cakes that fit every customers vision is super fun and challenges me to push myself and create something I haven’t done before. So there you have it, a little bit about me and what I do.
