Cheeky little reading date with @hollynumberone_ in the middle of nowhere ♥️ Holly was reading Bloom by @delilahsdawson and I was finishing The Dirty Swallow by Sam West. A cute view and almost both books finished- a very successful outing 🌷🩵
Leeds will always have my heart for its indie bookshops. Holly and I visited @holdfastleeds first thing once we arrived and then marched straight down to @thebookishtypeleeds 💕 So nice to see everyone again and we will, of course, be going back soon 🩵🩶
Well after over five years (woah) of working at the best place in the world, I have finished working at @therabbithole.brigg . The bookshop has helped create some of the best memories, which I will forever cherish and smile at. But a shop is just a shop- it’s the people who make it special. Mel and Nick have supported me from day one, pushing me to try new things and succeed and, even though it sometimes drove me mad, I am unbelievably grateful for everything that they have taught me. Who would’ve known that being a bookseller meant being able to fumble physics to fit a bookcase down the stairs? Literally no one but it’s a completely useless skill I can now say I have. I’d like to give Mel and Nick a massive thank you and a huge huge hug for everything, but it’s not a goodbye it’s just a ‘see you soon’ and I wish them the absolute best of luck with the move because no one deserves it more than these two. I’ll still be in and around Brigg, so please do say hi if you see me. Thanks everyone for the past five years 🐰♥️
Is the bookseller really a vampire? I wish we could say we were warm doing this, but we were, in fact, very much not. Thank you to the staff at Louth church for allowing us into restricted areas to take some of these stunning photos! Now back to reading, guys 🖤♥️
In 2025 we sold an array of fantastic books but which ten titles kept flying out of The Rabbit Hole? Have you read any of our top ten most wanted books of last year?

Do Audiobooks Count As Reading?
They may be very useful in the car or when you’re gardening, but does the spoken word count as one of your five-a-day? Caitlin and Ally-mai swap opinions.
