I know I'm a little late with my Three Little Birds post, so here goes! 😀
It was an absolute pleasure to work with everyone. I had the opportunity to work with so many brilliant people, including those who had a massive influence on me growing up, and continue to influence and inspire me today.
I'd like to say a HUGE thank you to Lenny, Charles McDougall, @darciamartindirector , @yerotimibiu , @nwimostella , @aishabywaterscasting , and @russelltdavies63.It was such a pleasure working with each and every one of you.
I'll never forget this opportunity and wonderful experience that I will always treasure. It was such a joy to bring Ruth Cooper to life and I'm so grateful for the opportunity to have been a part of something so wonderful and special. 🥰

Michael, you were exceptional and a once in a lifetime talent! I've been excitedly awaiting this film since I first heard of it happening. I've been an MJ fan for many years and to see Jaffar Jackson bring Michael to life in the way he did was more than amazing, at times it was easy to forget that it wasn't actually Michael playing himself on screen, that's how incredible Jaffar was as his uncle.
This story not only showed Michael Jackson as the King of Pop we all knew and loved, but it also showed the human side to who he was as a person.
There was laughter, tears and a lot of singing in between some heartbreaking scenes.
This film is the closest I will ever get to an MJ concert, so being able to experience "Human Nature", "Bad", "Billie Jean" and more in a concert setting on screen is something I will never be able to put into words!
Jaffar Jackson was incredible as Michael, Colman Domingo was terrifying as Joe Jackson, and Juliano Valdi was magical as young Michael.
If you can experience this in IMAX, please do so because that was one of the best experiences I've had in cinema, if not, the best! #MichaelMovie

I’d never been to Brighton before, but it is wonderful and I had the most incredible day!
It was lovely to catch up with @sarahleighfilm once again. I had a fantastic night in a room full of incredible talent! I carried my dad with me the entire day, in my heart and through symbolism. Back in his 20s, my dad was a truck driver and so I wore a yellow Scania truck badge on my lapel because he drove a yellow Scania back in the day.
The badge above is of the Lincoln Imp, representing the county of Lincolnshire where I'm from!
I am so incredibly proud and chuffed to share the fantastic news that our short film "One For The Road" has won the award for Best Live Action Film at Daydream cinema!
I'm so incredibly proud and happy for everyone involved, and a big thank you to everyone at @day_dream_cinema !
Next up is the @oskabright film festival on March 30th, and I'm excited!
On January 16th, our dad passed away peacefully in his sleep after becoming seriously ill just before Christmas. He was in and out of hospital throughout the month, but he never let on to us how serious his condition was, because that was our dad, always putting us kids first.
As I write this post, and since laying our dad to rest on the 24th February, I’ve finally started to process everything that has happened. Before, I hadn’t really processed my own grief, but now the dust has settled, it’s hitting me in waves.
Thank you, Dad, for everything. The memories, the love, the support, and all the amazing moments in between.
We love you always. Hope you’re having fun up there with those that went before you, and your Nanna ❤️❤️

I'm super thrilled to let everyone know that I have entered into the 2026 New Writers Collective. I've spent much needed time further developing my scripts and making them ready for incredible opportunities such as this.
It's been a journey, fine tuning and combing back through my work and improving on parts that were not quite holding up before! 😃
