GLUTEN-FREE ALMOND ORANGE CAKE RECIPE 🍊
INGREDIENTS:
4 eggs
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla extract or vanilla bean paste
1/4 tsp almond extract
orange zest, from 1 orange
1/2 cup orange juice
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 tbsp heavy cream
3 cups almond flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/8 tsp salt
1/3 cup sliced almonds
1/4 cup powdered sugar
RECIPE:
1. Grease a 9 inch round pan and preheat oven to 350f.
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine 4 eggs and granulated sugar. Mix using a handheld mixer for 2-3 minutes.
3. Add in vanilla and almond extracts, orange zest and juice, oil and cream. Mix until combined.
4. Add in almond flour, baking powder and salt. Mix until combined. Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 30 minutes or until toothpick is inserted and comes out clean.
5. Cool cake and then place on serving tray. Sprinkle almonds on top and top with powdered sugar. Serve and enjoy!

MASTERS MUFFIN RECIPE!
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup butter, softened
2 2/3 cups sugar
6 eggs
1/4 tsp baking soda
1 1/2 tsp vanilla bean extract or paste
1 cup sour cream
3 cups AP flour
RECIPE:
1. Line or spray muffin tin with baking spray. Preheat oven to 300f.
2. In large mixing bowl, combine butter and sugar. Mix with hand mixer until fully combined.
3. Add in eggs, baking soda and vanilla. Stir until smooth. Stir in the sour cream until fully combined.
4. Add in flour 1 cup at a time and stir using a rubber spatula until fully incorporated. Pour batter into muffin tray and bake for 30 minutes.
5. Let cool, serve (ideally with butter and flaky sea salt) and enjoy!
