trans week of visibility is more than being seen— it’s being safe enough to stay.
feeling thankful for the versions of my myself that have always been and will always be trans— while simultaneously honouring and grieving what was and is.
trans people deserve joy, protection, and futures written in our own handwriting. we deserve bodies that feel like home, and laws that protect and recognise our humanity.
my story is one of many: of trans people surviving, loving, creating, and choosing ourselves in a world that too often chooses violence instead-carving out space in a world that tries to shrink us.
visibility isn’t the whole fight, but it’s a reminder that we’re still here, have always been, and our lives are worth celebrating and defending.
so here’s to being trans and getting visibly hotter every year: 2025, 2024, 2023, 2022.
