On Friday, we witnessed a legend making her way back to the stage. 🎙️
Talented singer and songwriter Julia Kamanda (@themusicmommy ) brought soul, a whole lot of heart, and her glowing, authentic self to her performance in the Ware Center atrium. We were entranced by her journal-entry-style original music, sang our hearts out to her covers of Tracy Chapman and Stevie Wonder, and when it was over, it was over too soon.
After Julia's moving set, the funky-fusion sounds of @cabbage_hill had us grooving, dancing, and forgetting all our troubles as they cooked up a hearty serving of inventive original music.
It was a night that promised to deliver the best of Lancaster's original music scene, and these skillful local artists made good on that promise. 🌹
