I’ve always said that I wouldn’t live my life based off of “should’ve, could’ve, would’ve’s.”
Growing up, I heard one too many people around me say those seemingly ruinous words, and promised that I wouldn’t subject my life to regret.
I arrived to a point where I knew I had to cash in on my words, and thus moved to LA.
Simply put, these sheets of paper are tangible pieces of evidence of me betting on and believing in me.
My life thus far is a product of leaping. Leaping into the unknown. Leaping into faith.
Just trusting that God would carry me and not leave me behind. Trusting that he actually cared about my desires and goals, and believing that he would marry my dreams with his timing and plans for me as well. Hoping that it would all work out.
For me, the real significance isn’t really about the awards and accolades (although it is still very cool and right to be recognized and credited for the work that you do📍) but more about God’s faithfulness and how he’ll always show up and stand on his words about about your future if you really trust and follow Him… even when things don’t make logical sense. The real kind of faith.
All in all, this is still just the beginning, but I had to mark the moment and show my gratitude.
I’m not long-winded as much these days haha, but this definitely deserved some words.
