CASSAVA’s A PANELIST! 🎙️🌟 Last Friday, I had the honor of gracing @abronsartscenter theater to speak as a panelist for @betterthanyesterdaysocial For Us Before Us weekend event 🥂 We discussed Black Art History moments that inspired us and still continue to, struggles Black Creatives face, the legacy of Black Art and our responsibilities as creatives to further expand on it, plus any advice to keep us all motivated. Times are hard, the political climate is even worse, so we need these spaces and community now more than ever. This event connected me back with my inner artist, and I couldn’t be any more grateful. At this event performers, artists, and food vendors were present! I met a wonderful new group of talented producers, singers, rappers, and artists, and it wouldn’t at all have been possible without @ottayoshay first creating the space! Thank you for being you, and for all that you do. MISS BAD GYAL C.E.O. 🇯🇲 you deserve the world! Congratulations on such a successful event!
