We’re excited to showcase C-Cube’s circular material research at Cracked Plateaus in Hualien—where post-earthquake stone fragments are transformed into low-carbon, regenerative possibilities you can see and touch. This exhibition pieces together “disaster fragments” into the “shapes of the future,” blending art, design, and material technology with our partners from the Stone Resource Center, Lotos, and local stonecraft makers. ｜Exhibition Highlights｜ 1｜Geology & Memory Artists rework earthquake fragments into stories of rebuilding and resilience. 2｜Translating Everyday Life Stone offcuts become objects and furniture, weaving sustainability into daily living. 3｜Future Forms C-Cube Lab × Lotos present circular materials, green composites, and 3D printing experiments. ✦ Island Bamboo Biochar Workshop🎋｜竹廢循環經濟材質再生工作坊 [2025.09.25-26] 在 #草屯工藝中心 的兩天裡，我們以「竹廢循環 × C-Slurry」為核心，串連展覽導覽、講座、實作與交流，搭建出一座 #島中島 般的循環示範場。🏝️ 很興奮看到學員們盡興投入，從講座 Q&A 到動手實作，問題與靈感此起彼落。一起討論、理解材料，也讓C-Slurry在手作裡loop發酵出新的可能！當「#黑碳酷酷墊」在一雙雙手中成形時，我們捕捉到 #工藝 手藝與設計想像 彼此對話的瞬間：有人細細琢磨紋理，有人自由拼貼創意，作品像秋日茶會的即興之作，也留下每個人專屬的印記！🧱🍵🍂 Over two days at the #NTCRI , we explored the theme “Bamboo Waste Cycling × C-Slurry” by weaving together guided tours, talks, hands-on practice, and open exchange — creating a small “island within the island” as a living demonstration site of circularity. 🏝️ It was exciting to see participants fully engaged — from Q&A sessions to hands-on making, sparks of curiosity and inspiration kept flowing. Together, we discussed and explored the material, letting C-Slurry ferment into new possibilities through craft. The crafted #charcoal plates began to take shape in everyone’s hands, carefully carved textures and freely collaged ideas. 🪸C-Cube in #PengHu #澎湖 🧱 我們剛完成了一個特別的 #珊瑚復育 任務！這次使用澎湖在地的 砂砱 ，結合#cslurry零水泥循環材料 ，設計 #人工魚礁 進行珊瑚復育。C-Cube與 #樂土 合作3D列印製成，並與水產試驗所澎湖漁業生物研究中心一起完成海洋投放計劃。 這些「升級再生」的在地材料，不再只是廢棄物，而是守護海洋生態的新力量。右滑看我們在海裡工作的樣子，最後一張還有特別嘉賓出現噢 👀🐟 特別感謝 @oceanchanneldiving 的專業潛水夥伴，協助我們一起完成這次的計劃！ . We just completed a special #CoralRestoration mission! Using coral gravel from Penghu, combined with #CSlurry (alkaline-activated materials), our team designed and 3D-printed artificial reefs with #lotos ,then placed them underwater together with the Fisheries Research Institute in Penghu. These “upcycled” local materials are no longer just waste; they’re becoming a new force to protect marine ecosystems.
