Just wrapped up some graphic design work for Sundays Before Sunset, a community concert in the park series brought to us by the Los Feliz Neighborhood Council and the LA Department of Cultural Affairs.
Each and every Sunday this summer from 3-6pm, Sundays Before Sunset both reclaims the Vermont Triangle at the corner of Hollywood Blvd & N Vermont Ave in Los Feliz as a hub for community arts and events and gears us up for the 3rd Annual Porchfest LA concert series that will take over residential lawns and porches across East and West LA this November.

I love this work. One day you’re stringing up flowers, the next you’re spending the day hauling props across town, then the next thing you know you’re doing surgery on a grandfather clock. What’s on the other side of those flats is a beautiful mystery for now and will be the stuff of wonders to come. I’m grateful to be meeting such a talented group of artists. I had the joy of spending the day driving around the wonderfully creative art dept. phenom @aggraphs picking up props from what felt like literally every last prop house in all of the San Fernando Valley last week, leaving no hand-painted polystyrene scenic stone unturned. I truly felt like a glossy-eyed kid in a candy shop.
