This week, I wrapped my 3rd job as script supervisor 🥂 Into the Sun was a raw, road-trip adventure across Texas, filled with dingy roadside motels… and a ridiculous amount of love and commitment ♡ I’m infinitely grateful to the coolest of all, our writer and director, Monique Champagne (@flambeauxs ), for trusting me and bringing me on board!! Cherry on top: working alongside my love @bronmoyi is such a blessing 🍒 I’ll never get enough of it. And finally, so many talents made up this crew!! @creoledebutante @eyes_on_dora @solaristhehiipriestess @anth_gmz @genevievebartonnn_ @colliersgrange … and many more (can’t find everyone’s IG rn). Love y’all!

Sweet Spring / Summer 2025 Music: Dance and Angela, by Franz Waxman Shot with a Sony Handycam Vision (Hi8) I built the habit to carry this camera around, filming little fragments of life I don’t want to forget—and I’m so delighted I did! Originally, filmmakers like Stan Brakhage and Nathaniel Dorsky inspired me to do this. I intend to keep it up and improve my documentarian skills as I go 📹

Things I do.. 1. 🌱 2. Collaborating with Bron on creative endeavors is the greatest blessing of all 🖤 3. “Shifting Narrative” — shot in 2023 (🎥 @bronmoyi ) 4. Shooting “Sleepless Night” — in April, I fell in love with Screendance thanks to a workshop with @katrinamcphersonart 5. Learning to light night scenes with Bron 6. “La Loba” — created in 2018 during a residency in Finland, inspired by the mystical Finnish landscapes and the tale of La Loba, as narrated by Clarissa Pinkola Estes in Women Who Run with the Wolves 7. Making time for practice and experimentation as often as possible 8. Dancing — I started taking classes again in April and found lots of joy and expansion doing improv with @markenache.me 9. Editing — since practicing Screendance, I started to explore a new side of editing; I’m learning to choreograph movement through the edit 10. Writing — lots of writings; for introspection (as it is the seed of my creative practice), to clarify thoughts, develop ideas and projects..

I felt inspired this morning as I read a newsletter by writer, YouTuber, podcast host, and, above all else, avid bibliophile Vashik Armenikus - @armenikus .      Aliveness isn’t a natural consequence of being born.      True aliveness starts when we learn to choose what to give our attention to.      This idea resonated with me, as I’m currently practicing and reflecting on concepts such as conscious co-creation and life art.      To live life as a work of art, intentional attention is essential.   As Vashik wrote, “Great artists are masters of paying attention. They refuse to live life inertly. They know that life is short and the universe is infinite.”      - What am I currently giving my attention to? Do I actually care about it?   - If not, where do I want my intention to go instead?
