Big issues on the day with severe wind that prevented me from putting up all the neg I wanted to control light.
But, upside was the wind really animated talent’s hair. VERY cinematic. Sometimes you just gotta roll with it. 👏

Using my fx30 with the Blazar Apex 35mmm, as well as the @lens.node Intel beta which brings out even more character from the anamorphics.
Did some shooting over the weekend with @dl_macd 😌🎬 — was gonna put up a bunch of neg to control the ratios more but the wind was so strong I couldn’t tackle it alone. BUT: wind in hair is pure cinema so NBD!!
Made a short film up on the spot 🎬
Usually I over-calculate every last thing. Wanted to do the complete opposite this time, and get out of my comfort zone 😮💨
