Some recent brand marks for the good folks at @redmesafilmco who are a Texas based film company. Their work is rooted in place, driven by people and created with intention. The inspiration for the brand imagery was that of the West Texas landscape and its natural color palette.
My goal here was to create a series of minimal and modern brand marks which visually tie to this landscape through an abstraction of the land forms. I love how these turned, we explored a variety of different illustrations and ultimately landed on these as being the strongest and most visually striking.

I’m always amazed and inspired by the way that music and art can connect people across vast spaces and through the years. I met both Mirror and Daisuke (say hello recs) in 2013 on my first trip to Japan and have very fortunately been able to stay friends and continue to be in each others lives in a meaningful way through music and art. I have a very vivid memory of sitting and watching Mirror’s entire soundcheck at Rips in Hachioji in 2015. I felt fully that I was watching the best performance I had ever seen.

From Design 👉 Sign. It’s always great to see how designs look once fabricated into physical signage or printed pieces. This is a bit of the branding I created for @balconeslandco who have a new large acreage ranch development in beautiful Wimberley Texas, Sites Ranch. This metal fabricated sign hangs at the gated entry.
Always great to work them on the visual identity for their beautiful Texas hill country land developments. Sites Ranch is a historic property which was operated by the Sites family as a cattle ranch for over 100 years, the original land being purchased in 1879. Now being thoughtfully preserved as 7 smaller ranch developments.

Almost a year ago we made a trip to see all the lighthouses in North Carolina, it was an incredible adventure and a wonderful way to see every bit of the beautiful coast here. So a year late… Here’s an illustration of the Currituck Beach Lighthouse, the northern most light on the outer banks, completed in 1875.
