Moments in time and the people who made it all worth it! 🫶🏾💫 I remember getting a call from Jen on a regular day in 2024, “Sewa, how would you like to work on a film?” (probably not her exact words 😄). After she explained the project, she asked if I had any questions. My response: “Why me?? Why did you think of me?” Jen, a little surprised by my question answers, “We saw the work you did on…project, and you were the first person who came to mind while building the team that we know would be “on it for the role”.” (again, paraphrasing-it’s been over a year 😄). Colossians 3:23 - anyone who knows me knows how much of myself I pour into everything I do. You never lose when you do things from the heart. Who would have thought that a project I worked on 3 years ago would lead me to become the Art Department Coordinator on such an incredible film 2 years later? A film that went on to become the first Nigerian film to premiere at Cannes, win an award and receive so many recognitions. I am deeply grateful to have been on set with such amazing people day in and day out. That in itself was the greatest gift, being a part of such a beautiful story ❤️. Thank you Art Department family! @bankekuku show was definitely my best show this season for @lagosfashionweekofficial Staying true to what the brand stands for, prints, colours, and styles perfect for a fun night out or holiday at a resort. @printessbanke is really that girl, lady, woman and who she thinks she is. IAMISIGO SS26: DUAL MANDATE at @templemuse This presentation and seraphic installation was truly a body of art, touching on an emotionally provoking topic/moment from the past (and present) - The Scramble for Africa. From the tablescape to the scenes and various elements within pieces of the collection left me with different connotations, ones that I’m still connecting. I can honestly say this has been one of my top shows ever attended during @lagosfashionweekofficial Congratulations to the @iamisigo team on such a beautiful body of work and to @heauxmosapiens on leading a moving performance with 15 entities (wonderful models). #lfwdiaries #lagosfashionweek2025
