We’re proud to introduce the filmmakers of the 2026 Reel Change Residency CENTRAL & MARITIME CANADA Cohort.
Over the past months, these creators have come together through Black Women Film & Media Canada’s Reel Change program to strengthen their projects, build meaningful connections, and support one another as producers and storytellers.
Through mentorship, collaboration, and peer accountability, this cohort has been developing powerful stories that reflect the depth and diversity of Black storytelling across Canada.
As the residency reaches its closing chapter, we’re excited to hear the pitches they’ve been preparing and to celebrate the work they’ve been building together.
