As a DJ you’re often asked: “what do you play?” - usually because people want to have an idea of what to expect from you musically. I normally answer “House”, but in reality, I never stick to any one genre in any of my sets. In the beginning of my DJ journey, I used to strictly play Afro-House, until I started feeling limited and bored of playing the same sound pattern. I’ve discovered that music should be a constant experiment and I now love learning about different genres and at this point, it is almost impossible for me to call myself a genre specific DJ.  I play music that moves me and depending on my mood, and the location, my sound can change from Afro House to Soulful House, to Minimal, Progressive, Garage, Funk, Disco, World Music, Melodic Techno, Drum n’ Bass…the list goes on.  Sometimes I try new things and it works, sometimes it doesn’t, but it is always fun to discover your sound within different genres and take risks that might end up surprising you.  I say, why not dare to dig for tracks in places that you haven’t explored before and see what happens? You might fall in love with music all over again❤️🎶 #neverstopcollecting #neverstopexploring #4theloveofmusic
