Welcome to my 2024 SHOWREEL: All in Unreal Engine 5. I think I’ll keep this short. 2024 was a very heavy year for me. Personally, career-wise. I watched the world beyond my PC go down (once again) with w!r zones and rescue animals all over the world. I’m angry. I’m disappointed. I’m full of emotions and this is me pouring it all out. Amidst the late stage capitalism , fast-paced productions, sleepless nights that make us who we are in this industry, I do still want to make the biggest thank you to the @epicgames & @unrealengine @3lateral team, because this open-source software has let me speak my heart and tell the stories I daydream about, cry about, feel hopeful / hopeless about, is all thanks to this medium. I think I’d lose so much of my soul and need for expression if I could not get these materialised thanks to this wonderful software. Let alone the fact that I’m financially free because of this. I want to take this little ramble to say everyone that I support and love in my community to keep speaking your mind and creating against all odds. You’re special for feeling the need to express and share, abstract it, bend it the way you want, but keep on expressing and pouring it all out. Doing the career that you are super maybe *too* passionate about is a double-edged sword. I try to use this sword wisely. I hope you use your sword to protect and understand yourself and the world around you. This is my 2024 showreel and here’s to a strong start to 2025 ⚔️

I became the IRL main subject of a non-animation video, should I have to say #NoA!? 🧜🏻‍♀️ Look at the @RealWorldEngine They released @busesart into real life before GTA6 The more the industry has corrupted animation with AI, the more I have became closer to Virtual Production. Now, I see myself truly wanting to express myself beyond the bounds of my best friend (my computer), and this is an introductory part of it I suppose. (Okay while editing we fell in love again and again, of course.) The more these platforms push us to be closed in, the more I feel like going out and getting away from it. I’ve been finding a profound sense of peace in breaking so called invisible boundaries I have when I am outside, like dancing and jumping around, and this video is produced in a way where I was just literally daring myself a bunch of things that need some sort of an inertia. I can say that the inertia, is whatever scares you. Do it Anyway, I guess, enjoy the human behind @busesart exploring the open world game in east london with the wonderful DOP @k.iv.y PS: Don’t let the pain carve you in, let it out. Get in loser, we’re driving our own freedom. @unrealengine 3D cinematic inside 5.6, and as usual, #NoAI Special thank you’s to @realophobiart and @dennn.00 for inspiring me to write and animate an Intro scene for my long overdue 3D short film named “If Berghain was a Venue written by George Orwell” as some of you might remember. It’s all my voice, well, in the sound design side indeed altered with ai… The facial expressions are in UE with Performance Capture of me acting. It was a big pleasure working on the Virtual Production of “Warburtons Rises to 150 Years with Baking” - Blockbuster Starring Morgan Freeman Unreal Engine Artist: Buse Simon ‪@busesart ‬ Virtual Production Studio: Quite Brilliant London @warburtonsuk , Britain’s biggest family bakery, has unveiled the latest in its line of blockbuster TV ads, starring Hollywood legend Morgan Freeman. The highly anticipated ad campaign, which celebrates Warburtons’ 150th anniversary, chronicles the family’s enduring passion for baking, with Morgan expertly guiding viewers through 150-years of Warburtons’ heritage. Following an impressive line-up of A-list celebrities including Olivia Colman and Robert De Niro, Morgan injects his characteristic, wry charm to the ad, humorously illustrating the family’s deep-rooted obsession with baking ad and setting it against nostalgic scenes from the 20th century. The rousing voiceover from Morgan explains that “it is not the worshiping of the ashes, but the passing on of the fire that counts.” The narrative ends by leaping into the modern day, as a fleet of Warburtons lorries drive by - a heritage British brand, built on generations of dedication and a heartfelt passion for baking.
