Clare & Jad’s day at Burtonfields Hall… and what a day it was ☀️ One of those perfect, sun-drenched ones, with family and friends gathered from all over the world. These two were all about the candid photos. They’ve been together for years, and Clare said they barely have any photos of just the two of them. Which feels mad when you think about it… but also, so many people say the same. That’s what drew them to my work. The unposed, natural feel. And as I was leaving, Clare thanked me for making them feel comfortable and for capturing their day without it feeling like it was all about the photos. That’s exactly it. Of course we tick the boxes… the family photos, a few of the two of them together. But mostly. It’s about standing back. Letting the day unfold. And capturing how it felt to be there.

The 9 bedrooms are all unique but equally beautiful, with every little detail thought of. The Bridal Suite is the most stunning setting for a special wedding morning, spacious and comfortable, flooded with natural light, and elegantly decorated to provide the perfect backdrop for photographs. As well as the many beautiful indoor spaces for guests to break off into, outdoors we had garden games on the lawn, live music on the patio, numerous options for beautiful photo backdrops in the pristinely kept gardens, and a marquee for a picnic-style lunch and speeches, for which Will sourced tables especially to fit the relaxed feel we wanted. The multitude of spaces at Burtonfields means there is a comfortable place for everyone, yet guests are never too far from one another..."
