This reissue has been updated and expanded for younger readers to enjoy with their grown ups. It's really very silly with a few moments of poetry to consider. I'll show you more soon. Bumpy update 🐸
I was hoping to have released a few more titles by now but I've been working on a different project for the past 6 months - It's another book that I'm really excited about but can't show you yet... As a result, Bumpy has slowed to a halt so I've decided to pop it on the shelf for a while. Huge thanks to everyone who has supported me along the way, I've loved all your feedback and chats. It's helped me develop my writing practice and design thinking. Making books is the best.

For artists juggling other commitments, being present with your creativity is sometimes the biggest challenge. I have to be discerning with my available attention between other roles as parent / husband / lecturer / son / self. Especially when part of the process requires getting lost and failing. Stay with an idea and nurture it. I'm in awe of the full timers out there hustling and being prolific but to the part timers; be kind to yourself, go slow and remember it's not a race. A.I. is already dead if our work is an expression of love, creativity and connection.
Finally thanks to the little people who have enjoyed the books and continue to do so. I've got loads of ideas for new titles that I'm tinkering with for the near future. What rhymes with Jellyfish?

Audrey passed away yesterday. We weren't really prepared for it but she has been unwell for sometime. It was a really, really sad day. I wanted a proper dog but was far too in love with Amy to persuade her otherwise so a miniature Boston terrier entered our lives. Little did I know that this farty little pig would become such an incredible friend and companion for the next 12 years. She has followed us everywhere, casting her spell on the world. If you met her, you likely had a cuddle or got a lick. We have explored every corner of the woods, climbed mountains and ate whippy cream from the can. I can feel the space she has left in our home, it's massive and empty now. I will miss her a lot. Bless you Audrey. Dogs forever x
