Meet Bonnie Do, a Toronto-based producer with nearly two decades of experience shaping Canadian independent cinema. From working as Director of Business Affairs at @serendipitypointfilms to contributing to films like David Cronenberg’s Crimes of the Future, Bonnie blends creative passion with serious business smarts ⭐
An alum of the Canadian Film Centre’s Producers’ Lab (2022), she’s been producing full-time since 2023 and recently wrapped two seasons of CBC Kids’ Go Togo. This year, Bonnie and director Vanessa Magic received Talent to Watch funding for their debut feature Nadine Pick Up the Phone, a huge win for local, creator-driven storytelling 👏

Been busy this last year working with a group of very, very talented and amazing people! So grateful that the kindest, most talented, smartest, with it, etc. etc. duo, @lindsayreally and Justin of @gazelleautomations replied to my cold call fan email 🤓 ❤️ and then introduced me to all of their kind, talented, with it, etc. friends. I can't possibly tag all of the gifted folks involved (including some of my @cfccreates cohorts) so you just need to watch every single awesome episode of "Go Togo" coming out this September on CBC and CBC Gem - please, thank you, ok?!

Mood: When you find out on Day 2 of working remotely in an Airbnb that your host throttles the wifi after 1GB of data usage and so you drive across town to use your brother and sister-in-law's internet on the last day of a "Heat Dome" in a town that doesn't believe in residential A/C in between a quick coffee date with an old and a new friend and slicing your hand open cutting a radish because you eat salads now too🌡🩹🩸✌ 👐inner
