Did you know deconstruction can come with tax benefits? 🏚️♻️=💸
Building Value offers a cost-saving alternative to demolition by carefully removing materials for reuse instead of sending them to the landfill. Because we are a nonprofit social enterprise, materials that are salvaged and resold may qualify for a tax deduction--something traditional demolition companies can’t offer.

This month, we’re celebrating TWO special occasions for our Administrative Manager, Laura Murphy: her one-year anniversary with Building Value AND her birthday! 🎉🎂
Over the past year, Laura has become an essential part of the Building Value team. From helping prepare payroll for our deconstruction crews, to making sure PPE and job site logistics are handled, to keeping communication flowing across departments, Laura helps keep everything moving behind the scenes every single day.
She’s also played a major role in expanding our impact by bringing in over 40 new acquisitions partners whose overstock donations help support our mission of job training, material reuse, and sustainability throughout Cincinnati communities.
Laura, thank you for your hard work, organization, and dedication to the team. We’re grateful to have you on the team and excited for another great year ahead.
Happy Birthday and Happy One-Year Anniversary, Laura! 🎈👏
36 items. 4,000 pounds. One very happy building.
We recently teamed up with the amazing folks at @pricehillwill to help clear out their offices and let's just say, we came, we hauled, we conquered. 💪
In total, we picked up 36 items weighing in at 4,000 pounds, with a salvage value of $365. That means furniture that could have ended up in a landfill is instead headed somewhere it can be loved and used again. That's a win we can all feel good about!
We LOVE working with local organizations like Price Hill Will, and we want every nonprofit, community group, and local business in Cincinnati to know: we got you. Whether you've got a few desks or an entire office worth of stuff, Building Value can help you clean out responsibly, sustainably, and with serious purpose behind every pickup.

Happy Mother's Day from all of us at Building Value! 💐
To every mom who taught us to take care of our toys, to see the value in what others overlook, and to leave things better than we found them--this one's for you.
You've been repurposing long before it was cool. We learned it from watching you.
Wishing a beautiful day to all the moms, grandmothers, and mother figures in our community. We're grateful for you. 🌷💚
The historic Oskamp Mansion in Westwood is getting a new chapter — and Building Value is helping clear the way. 🏛️🔨
Entrepreneur David Berger acquired the iconic 1896 estate and its 81,000 sq. ft. former nursing home facility for redevelopment, and he hired our crews to handle the deconstruction sustainably. That means salvaging materials, keeping reusable goods out of the landfill, and putting construction trainees to work in the process.
Developers: this is how it's done. 👊
