Glad to share that our project, "The houseum" has been published in @thearchitectsdiaryin exclusive . This project has been one of its kind in its. With its unique resolution of form, requirement of spaces and their resolution. We are absolutely thrilled, that The architects diary has found potential in it. The Houseum. Tucked within an ancestral property in Vadodara, this “houseum” by Milind Shivani Designs extends the family’s legacy with quiet restraint. Conceived as both car gallery and living room, the pavilion follows site contours, preserving trees, soil, and sightlines to the old bungalow by Suryakant Patel. A dismantlable metal frame, brick arches, and a hyperbolic paraboloid roof echo heritage while remaining lightweight and reversible. Cars occupy the front; antiques and gatherings flow into a courtyard at the rear. More than storage, it is a living dialogue between memory and modernity — honoring heritage, ecology, and family while curating pride in inheritance.
