Our debut album Micrographia is out next Friday (21st) and I can barely put into words what that means! We’ve been making music together since 2019 and this is the culmination of our friendship and how special it is. It’s obviously an album about grief but it’s about love too - and it wouldn’t exist without my gorgeous bugs. So so grateful to so many people:

From the moment I asked Alex to play synth with me, this project has grown and grown from me writing in my bedroom to playing with my best friends in the world! Releasing an ALBUM and an EP and going on tour and working with artists we love! The amount of opportunities we’ve had just mean so much to me. Thank you to everyone for believing in us.

Overjoyed and a little nervous to announce, with the birth of our new single, that our DEBUT ALBUM is coming out in November via @state51 ! It’s called Micrographia - and wouldn’t exist without you. I’m calling this piece and the other sculpture artworks I’ve made ‘contemporary tomb sculptures’?? (pls someone come up with a better name)
I began the micrographia artwork project whilst working part time for cancer research @cr_uk in scotland. Taking research trips to study cell-like beings- rockpools…jellyfish, moss, rock carvings, stone circles and read up on Neolithic death rituals. This artwork as always , is dedicated to @bugteethuk ‘s brilliant mum Pennie Johnson and is informed by PJs experience of sudden loss and processing grief.
