The Legacy
Guys. I could write a 10 paragraph caption here about this day and this couple.
It started 12.27.2023 when we had our introductory call. They were looking for a day of coordinator. Someone who could keep to a timeline but know when to let moments be moments. Someone who could provide recommendations. Someone kind and approachable towards all vendors, ensuring they knew 𝘸𝘦 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘢𝘮𝘦 𝘵𝘦𝘢𝘮. Someone who could be their point person for any and all the things.
Little did they know that 548 days later, they would have a new friend for life. Your wedding day might be over but you can’t get rid of me that easily! 😭
I don’t take on many weddings as day of coordinator in a calendar year. I’m extremely selective because I know how my brain works. I will always, always put 110% of my mind & body into making a couples wedding day as special as humanly possible. I invest all my energy into a couple, their planning process and their day of because in order for me to be my best self, I need to understand not only the dynamic between the bride & groom but also who they are as individuals. I knew Sheby and Lucas were magic after that intro phone call and could not have possibly been more excited when they said they wanted to hire me.
You two are the epitome of timeless love. The way you glance at eachother, the way you spoke about the other when they weren’t around, the way you each told me things about the other with such care and concern, making sure I took the time as DOC to make things happen that would alleviate stress. Again, I can do 10 paragraphs here..
I will end with thanking you both for trusting me to be the one to execute your vision as well as park a uhaul in your driveway at midnight. I love you guys. Cant wait to cross paths again xoxo
