āOn Purposeā Finding progress shots of this work reminds me just how gradually we make our way towards our calling. The incredibly nonlinear process that is Becoming. How much feeling-around, testing, failing, and not even noticing your own growth it takes to finally be at a place where youāre still making your way to something new, while also thinking youād feel complete once you arrived where you are.
The world reopening is a precipice point. Despite the collective desire to rush and switch all systems ON again, I am feeling more pause and reflection than ever. The invitation to really review where Iām going, exactly where I am, and from where Iāve come.
This piece in particular makes more sense to me than it did when I made it in 2019, because it is a story of discovering purpose and yet it has no compositional beginning nor end. For the first time, I feel soothed in the knowing that I will never fully arrive at one pinnacle expression of self, but rather keep circling back, sliding forward, and taking moments like this to refine/retune to myself in the present Now.
Process no longer feels like an anxious state of incompleteness, rather a series of present actions conspiring to create infinitely more sensation than a singular outcome could ever produce without having journeyed to discover it.

The images that follow reflect a shared vision to reimagine stained glass as a contemporary, expressive medium, telling meaningful stories that elevate and humanize public space.
Weāre currently developing new work together, and Iāll be visiting their Denver headquarters soon to share more from behind the scenes. Weāre excited to continue expanding this work at an architectural scale.

On Dimension is a wooden marquetry piece that illustrates the way that offering empathy deepens our compassion for self and other simultaneously, and the new dimensions we collectively enter when this becomes our social operating system.
Feeling is a radical act.
My new print series, SENTIENCE, traces eight stages of re-sensitization ā a cycle of reconnecting with emotion in a desensitized time.
Each work honors the slow, brave practice of feeling ā of turning toward whatās tender, alive, and human.
