A fantastic pro-ageing organisation; challenging the media narrative around ageing - Advantages of Age held their awards last week at the beautiful Hoxton Hall. I'd been nominated for one of the categories 'Style Queen' 👑
Tbh I was both delighted & extremely rattled as I've always found competitions difficult. We are overwhelmed by TV programming pitting people against each other and I find them deeply unpleasant. But I got over myself and attended in a fabulous Badge coat I made but don't wear often as it's flipping heavy and badges fly off😆🤪
The categories were full of hugely inspiring individuals and organisations way more worthy than being feted for looking stylish occasionally. 😉 Having said that, It was such an amazing, positive event that it felt an honour to be nominated amongst such wonderful people❣️
