Edit 2 @showbrain & @casagogolrecords all day hoedown of iconic sing alongs in Tompkins Sq Park like “Punkrocker“ @crazyandthebrains style and “New York-London” by the absolutely sensational @bubblesnyc plus a heavy hypnosis session with our amazing Grace doing @thevelvetunderground “All Tomorrow’s Parties” & new amazing material. When working with the great Steve Albini i remember him saying yours is the rare kind of a band the entire family goes fkn bunkers to. That is def the spirit also shared and cultivated by Showbrain crew and @justozzie21 watering the awesomeness of community despite any watering from above 🌧️ #nyc #punkrockforlife #community #fambiz pics & vids by everyone, pls dm if more needed 🤟🏼💯 #casagogolrecords

Sunday’s show is so close we can taste it! Show Brain returns to Tompkins Square Park on Sunday, Sept 7 in collaboration with @casagogolrecords - With an epic lineup not to miss! Catch Bubbles opening up the show at 1:30 alongside @puzzledpanther.nyc @nabihahiqbal @crazyandthebrains @95bullsnyc and @grace.simone.bergere ⚡️ Music from 1:30 to 6 PM and as always, FREE & ALL AGES! 🧠 Bring your friends, bring the fam, bring your pets and see you in the park! 💥 “Bubbles are Alain Levitt @alainlevittphotography and Jason P. Grisell @fastfriends . Together they make inclusive and deeply personal synth-pop music that careens and falls forward with ecstatic vocals and beat making - exploring low-end frequencies, noise guitar, melodic bass guitar lines and analog and digital synthesis. The goal? To experience the simple human pleasure of listening to a song that speaks to the emotions, the brain, and the heart; to craft pop songs and euphoric hooks capable of piercing through the paranoia and depression of the modern world. Bubbles’ initial songs were a strange brew of 90s West Coast hip-hop and an unidentified band off of the soundtrack to a John Hughes film. These sounds were soon to be followed by nods to classic dance floor styles of downtown NYC circa the 1980s, post-punk scratch, ghostly synth-pop hooks, survivalist spirit, the orange juice drinking, ecstasy eaters of Manchester, bedroom beat-makers and DIY explorers worldwide - all coming together in what a fan at one of their shows was heard calling, “a blend of The Pet Shop Boys and Suicide”. Jason and Alain are transplanted New Yorkers, both having left California years ago. Alain can often be found scouring New York looking for old and forgotten drum machines and synths. Jason is usually found in the New York City Public Library with his face in a book.“ Flyer by @taylerdeath #showbrain
