Greenville County Council has taken a major step forward for @bswarena and our community, advancing funding for our $282M master plan with a unanimous committee vote and approval through first reading. Additional steps remain before final approval, including two more readings and a public hearing in February.
Working with incredible partners @LS3P , @LMNArchitects & @Gensler_Design , this vision includes:
• Expanded parking garage for improved guest access
• A 6,500-seat outdoor amphitheater
• Enhanced concourses and entryways
• Modernized backstage facilities and premium seating
The plan is funded through arena revenues, hospitality tax, and accommodations tax, with no planned property tax rate increase.
