Getting excited for the Brooklyn Half Marathon this Saturday! It’s my 5th, and it looks like it’s going to be a beautiful day for it (maybe a bit too warm for the speedsters, but I’m not planning to set any records)! Thrilled to have opened Joshua Harmon’s Prayer for the French Republic at @gablestage . Led by visionary director Bari Newport, the play follows a Jewish family in Paris across five generations, with a masterful creative team including lighting designer @jess.winward and projection designer Jamie Godwin.

Due to the great blizzard of 2026, I got a little behind on my posting. But after booking flights and having them cancelled six times, I finally nabbed an actual flight to Miami late on Tuesday, and I have begun rehearsals for a project I’ve been looking forward to for months!
I am doing Josh Harmon’s brilliant Prayer for the French Republic, at GableStage in Miami. With artistic director Bari Newport at the helm, this is the most ambitious play that GableStage has ever undertaken. I’m thrilled to be working with this incredible team of actors and creatives, including Patti Gardner, who played my Golde in our award-winning production of Fiddler on the Roof at the Wick Theatre in Boca Raton two years ago.
