A vision years in the making comes to life in the place they call home. @wyeoaktavern is the first collaborative restaurant from brothers and chefs @bryanvoltaggio and @mvoltaggio in their hometown of Frederick, MD.
Located within @visitationhotel , the city’s first new hotel in over 50 years, the restaurant is a culinary tribute to the Mid-Atlantic. From dry-aged steaks and handmade pastas to fresh seafood and local game, every dish is built on a shared vision of community and connection.

Tournament of Champions 7
What a crazy ride it has been.
From the first round to the final plate, this wasn’t just a competition, it was a reminder of why I love this industry so much. The pressure, the creativity, the chaos… and most importantly, the people.
To every Chef who stepped into that kitchen, Thank You. Your talent, your tenacity, and your willingness to put it all on the line made this experience what it was. I didn’t just compete against you, I learned from you. Every battle pushed me to dig deeper, cook smarter, and stay present.
There’s a level of respect that comes from sharing that kitchen, that clock, that randomizer, and the opportunity to cook alongside the best, I will carry that with me.
Thank you to all my friends and family who have supported me along the way.
Grateful for the opportunity, proud to have been part of something special, and honored to walk away with the win.
Until the next one.
Grab your seat at the table with @bryanvoltaggio !
In this episode, we talk about what it was like growing up as the oldest of three, and how that competitive drive started early; first in sports, then in the kitchen. We get into his journey from working in a hotel kitchen as a teenager to building his own restaurants, and what it really feels like to compete on shows like Tournament of Champions, the pressure, the nerves, and everything you don’t see at home. And of course, we talk about his brother, Michael Voltaggio; from growing up together, to competing against each other, to becoming business partners, and how they’ve ultimately become the dream team. We also get into how he really feels about his competition storyline: always the bridesmaid, never the bride…
**TOC spoiler alert - so watch the finale first! 🏆
Tournament of Champions VII
Premiering Sunday, April 19th at 8pm – "And the Winner Is...” – SEASON FINALE
Semifinals of Tournament of Champions and it’s not lost on me who I’m standing next to.
Sharing the kitchen with Chefs like Kenny Gilbert, Kevin Lee, and the always incredible Jet Tila is something I don’t take lightly. These guys don’t just show up, they bring it every single round.
There’s a level of respect that comes with this stage. You’re competing, but you’re also learning, pushing, and being pushed by people at the top of their game.
Grateful to still be in it. Grateful for the competition. I am also very aware that from here on out, this will not be easy.
